Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account is required. Gallery Curator Trainer works offline. Opening a store listing, an online policy or contacting support uses another app and may require an internet connection.

What devices does the app support?

The app is designed for Android 8.0 (API 26) and later. For current release and installation details, email support@artsworlduk.site.

Are the artworks and artists real?

The app’s artists, titles and artworks are fictional. Artwork images are generated on your device from procedural configurations. They do not reproduce existing artworks.

Is there one correct answer to every challenge?

Curation involves interpretation. Feedback explains how directly a choice can be supported by the works, and may suggest another defensible possibility. It is not professional assessment or a qualification.

How do I save or share an exhibition?

In the app, choose four to eight works, arrange them, and add a title and statement. Save your exhibition or keep a draft. The share action passes exhibition text to an app you select through Android’s share sheet.

Why did my daily reminder arrive late?

Reminders use Android background scheduling. Battery-saving settings can delay them. Check that reminders are enabled in the app and that Android allows notifications. You can turn reminders off at any time.

What does Reset Progress remove?

It clears challenge attempts, practice sessions, explored works and lesson completion. It keeps exhibitions, favourites and settings. Read the data management guide for full deletion steps.

Can I recover progress after changing phones?

Android backup and device-transfer features follow your device settings. A backup may restore earlier app data, but recovery depends on your backup provider and device. The developer cannot access or restore your local data.

Does the app have adverts or in-app purchases?

The current app implementation has no advertising or in-app purchases. It also has no analytics or developer-operated account service.

How can I report a problem?

Email support with your Android version, app version and the steps that led to the issue. Avoid sending sensitive personal information. Screenshots are optional; remove private information before sharing them.
